Install bollard to stop illegal parking
Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:26, Tuesday 30 May 2023
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Please could you consider installing an additional bollard at the junction of Rose Place and Albion Place? Although there are bollards there, currently there is enough space to squeeze a car between them, and people are constantly parking illegally in Rose Place, which at times makes it hazardous when cyclists and pedestrians use it.

A supplementary request note to Council Ref: ENQ23963564: One of bollards has had it's 'base' removed and although it still sits 'flush' when in an upright position- it is easy to knock over and could be injurious to say a child, if it were pushed over and fell upon them.

We have investigated your report and have added your request to our maintenance list for 2023/24. However, these works will have to compete with others that may have a higher priority as more reports are received (for example where there are greater safety implications). As a result it may get deferred more than once.
