Pavement unsuitable for wheelchair. Have to use Road.
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 23:50, Fri 26 May 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The tarmac pavement surface around the corner of WENTWORTH ROAD and MONTROSE WAY is so uneven with bumps, dips and tilted surfaces that is getting hazardous for wheelchair users. Wheelchair user now has to use the road rather than the pavement -particularly in the wet or if traction is otherwise sketchy. The multiple times the pavement has been dug up and re-laid for cable works and repairs with patches has significantly added to the difficulties.

If digging up and/or resurfacing the pavement please do not cut the internet or phone cables. This has been a repeating event ever since ISP fibre to premise started to be laid for us and other households in the area. I understand that in some cases the cabling is relatively shallow and each ‘dig’ cuts the cables - despite assurances given.
