HUUUUGE (unavoidable) pothole
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Mike Page at 17:49, Friday 26 May 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I'm understating this - it's unbelievably massive and an accident waiting to happen since it's totally unavoidable due to the way the cars park, and even more so in the dark (think cyclists).
Close-up photo to follow, brace yourself!

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in Larkhill Road, opposite Longmead junction, and assessed the issue you have identified. I couldn't find the defects you refer to, at this location. The 1 defect I did find has already been repaired, the rest don't meet our intervention level, see photos. I am therefore closing this report.
We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.
If you notice that the issue gets worse, please open a new report. Find out more about highway repairs and how we assess risk https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ road-repairs.
You can submit a new Fix My Street report, with the map pin positioned at the correct location of the issue, preferably with photos of the defect, and we will investigate again. Many thanks.
