Section of block paving missing in the rest area on footpath between Witan Way pedestrian crossing and Langel river bridge
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:50, Thu 25 May 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The problem is in the rest area half way along the footpath that runs from the pedestrian crossing on Witan Way (opposite Waitrose car park) to join the footpath that runs east towards Cogges.
Several months ago I reported that there were TWO areas in that area where the block paving had disappeared. Since then the larger of the two areas has been repaired (with tarmac) but the other (smaller) area still needs to be repaired. It's a serious safety hazard to anyone with poor eyesight walking along that path, so could you please get it fixed.

On Friday 26 May I saw a group of teenagers lifting out more paving blocks from this area and throwing them into the Windrush. They actually threw two blocks at my wife and I after I told them to stop.
