One lane causing major problems

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

With the current road works over the bridge, they have closed off one lane. This is slowly strangling the through route with queues going back past the Peartree roundabout, up the slip road to the a34 on one direction and in the other right back past bedbroke. Can this section of the road works not be completed fasted by having 2 teams working throughout the night and on weekends???
