This hill for about 30 metres has numerous potholes and the side of the road is sunken with a ridge in the middle. The worse stretch is from the fork at the bottom of the hill at Newnham Hill Bottom upto Beechwood Cottage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

These pot holes and the state of the road have been reported for over 2 years by a number of people and nothing has been done. You have come out several times and either said this isn’t a priority (when plainly it is) or it’s on the list but nothing gets done. The residents are now suffering as we have a number of elderly people who rely on taxis to get to hospital and taxi firms are refusing to come out because of the state of the road. Should any vehicle suffer damage as a result of your repeated inaction then you will be presented with a bill for the repair.

  • I second this - the road is in an appalling state - the sunken parts with ridges in the middle of the road are so bad that any car that isn't a 4x4 will be struck on the underside by the road surface.
