Pavement in need of urgent repairs

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This grade ii listed stone pavement is in need of urgent repairs as some of the stone slabs are loose. We are concerned that an accident may occur due to its condition.

  • A large stone slab about 10 metres from the church end of the western raised pavement is totally loose. Two supporting stones from underneath the slab are sitting on top of the slab! There is a real risk of the slab collapsing and any pedestrian walking on it falling more than two feet onto the carriageway.
