Dangerous roadworks and aggressive operatives working on the site

Reported via desktop anonymously at 08:52, Tuesday 9 May 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

Roadworks have been ongoing for some time.

This morning (8.10am) a large flat bed truck (branded "Chevron") was parked on the wrong side of the road on the bend, immediately after the bridge.

This was dangerous to pass as it wasn't possible to see past the truck.

While in the queue I wound down the window to suggest that one of the operatives found somewhere more appropriate to park.

The response was "Where do you expect me to park? You need to mind your own f%&$ing business"

When I returned at around 8.30 the truck was still in the same position. There was also a digger being moved across the road, amidst the chaos, without a banksmen or any traffic control.

Who is managing these works? What will be done to address this?
