Large crack in curbstone on slip road

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 09:25, Tue 2 May 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

RE REFERENCE 4257381

There is a large crack in the curb stone leading onto the slip road on Oxford road, Clifton Hampden. I have tripped over this several times now. I submitted a Fix my street problem in February (reference 4257381 ) and, after several months, had the response “This report has been closed. However this is on the system to be fixed”

When is it going to be fixed? I don’t think it is acceptable to close a case without resolving the problem just to meet council targets. I am an NHS doctor and it’s like saying we have met our 4 hour wait target in A&E, but you actually haven’t, you have just logged that there is a patient to be seen and allocated them to a speciality, which removes them from the reporting system for wait targets.

I would like to know when this is going to be fixed please, as it is a rather urgent safety issue for pedestrians on the sidewalk.

Kind regards

Dr Amelia Jordan
