No dropped curb

Reported via Android in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 11:56, Thu 27 April 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Cyclists are signposted this way towards Steventon from Milton Interchange but then the shared pedestrian-cycle path just ends at a full height curb with no additional signs or clues how to navigate the obstacle. I can just about bump down it into the road to ride up the hill but it's impossible for me to lift my box cargo trike up the curb if I've come down the hill and am attempting to get out of the road - and I'm able bodied, this is dangerous and exclusionary to wheelchairs/adapted cycles, please fix urgently with a dropped curb or other stepless crossing/way to join the road. I have to go this way to avoid the equally exclusionary narrow chicanes reported previously on the shorter cycle route up the hill to Milton Heights. Please review the access here against the Equalities Act and current cycle infrastructure best practice, it seems to be sorely wanting and potentially illegal.
