Impassible road damage

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:55, Tue 25 April 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As there is no footpath this road is the access to Duffield Place and it is impassible and dangerous to navigate in a wheel chair or with a walker. All traffic is directed by this entry to Duffield Place on Sat Nav so deliveries, ambulances and bin lorries as well as residents with cars use this access. It has never been upgraded from the original concrete surface,

  • This is still outstanding. Took my mum round there yesterday with her walker and around the last speed hump before fettiplace road is very dangerous.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The land by the garages is not adopted highway. Oxfordshire County Council has no maintenance responsibility for the land. The speed hump was probably put in by the private landowner.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
