Narrow road, Regular large vehicles

Just outside The Old School, Hight street, Finstock. We have lived in the property since last July 22 and the road has been a constant issue, I am sure it has been a problem for longer but this is just as long as we have experienced it. Within the first day of living at the property a truck delivering alcohol to The Plough broke our wing mirror off. Luckily they were very nice and we claimed it on their insurance. Since we moved in we have had constant issues with parking our vehicle outside our property. We have two young children and have to park close to the house for safety reasons. This means that we are worrying about all of the large trucks, farm vehicles, large SUV cars, tractors that constantly pass our house. More recently we have had another mirror knocked off and it is costing us upward of £200. The grass verge opposite is mangled as the only way people can pass is to mount the curb. We also have a small raised part outside our house which means we cannot park close to the house. I think it makes sense to widen the road inline with the mangled verge, this may save us future wing mirrors and allow for the constant traffic in deliveries that happen on this relatively busy road to run more smoothly and without an unsightly verge.
