Overgrown hedges, grass and weeds

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 07:31, Thursday 20 April 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported this in June 2022 and to date nothing has been done but the issue has been closed on Fix My Street. So much of the pavement is being taken over by the overgrown greenery that the pavement is increasingly narrow and forces some users onto the road, which despite the new speed camera, is an area where many drivers speed. The problem remains the same as my last report: The hedges and grass are so overgrown that it is forcing you to walk on the road as the pavement has got so narrow due to the encroaching greenery. It affects most of the stretch from the junction of Orchard Hill and Highworth Road right up to opposite the new Bewley Homes development. The problem has been getting worse over the last few months as the growing season started.
