  • 15.04.2023 Saturday, 17:00ish. Tyre punctured, completely flat, only 9 month old tyre. Had to stop on the road due to no where to pull over. it was a fast and busy road - very Dangerous. Someone else was on the road due to the same damage from the same pothole. i had to call out the AA, waiting on the main road with little safe space to stand. will now have to get a mobile tyre company out, before work on Monday.

  • This pothole is getting bigger, and another motorist has damaged tyre

  • Burst my ns front tyre on Sunday night 9:07pm. Incredibly dangerous, managed to labour back home to faringdon on flat tyre. Two other cars stopped with burst tyres. Unacceptable from the authorities, I expect full compensation for replacing tyre, fix potential other mechanical issues - wheel alignment, suspension parts, damaged alloys etc. passenger who travelled with me experienced pain when we hit the pot hole. The two cars that stopped in front of me caused a tight obstruction on a 60mph narrow stretch of road, incredibly dangerous. Further accidents might be caused if not repaired immediately.

  • Caused significant damage to my tyre and damage to my rims was on a rainy day and puddle was covering the whole of the pothole.

  • Saturday 17pm ish update- I have had to pay £127 for a new tyre and for it to be fitted , which I expect full compensation for, there has also been damage to my alloys around the edge. The pot hole takes up nearly half of the lane, it’s unmissable and it was full of water. My tyre instantly went flat and I was stuck on a busy 60mph road taking up the whole lane as there is no where to pull over. Another motorist had the same issue as me at the same time.

  • Driving from Faringdon to Highworth this morning at around 8:00am I hit this pothole and it has buckled/bent my alloy. Tyre was fine due to being a run flat tyre so did not burst, but the alloy and suspension took the full hit. I will now need to get my alloy repaired/replaced. I hope this pothole is filled asap. It’s a narrow, quick road.

  • Sat 29th April - Saw pothole and went across it slowly - but tyre was pinched on edge of pothole and cut, causing a flat. Was amazed to find that this had been reported weeks ago and nothing done about it. Very dangerous on a fast country road.
