New 20mph sign near 22 Blenheim Road OX5 2HP has been spray painted grey over the 20, both sides.

  • I think I've just realised that this grey paint is temporary as the speed limit is not in force yet. I think I have a vague memory of seeing this in the past when new road signs were erected. So what I reported is not vandalism! Please let me know if I'm right or wrong!

  • Thank you for your report. The reason this was sprayed is due to not all the signs being installed on the stretch of the speed limit. However they can be wiped off when the speed limit is complete and enforceable.
