Dangerous. changes to junction

Reported via mobile anonymously at 16:24, Tue 4 April 2023

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The changes to this junctio ln are dangerous. A large number of vehicles including school buses use this junction. the house building contractors have narrowed the junction which does not give enough room for vehicles if anything this junction needs improvement. why is a new housing development allowed to get right of way rather than a long standing road in and out of Woodstock. there is an accident t waiting to happen on this junction.

  • Dear Barbara,

We are working with the developer, contractor and OCC Network Management to complete the works to adoptable standards and in a timely manner. Please note, the current layout is temporary. We are impressing the importance of finishing the highway works to the developer.

    Kind regards
    Road Agreements Team
