Severe flooding at 47 Wallingford Road, Cholsey

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category anonymously at 02:18, Saturday 1 April 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Further to our first complaint today, please find attached photos showing exactly the problem we are having trying to enter or exit our property - we are having to dodge the flood water from vehicles going through the flood and this happens EVERY time it rains. Yesterday I had to park my car on the road, in the flood water to enable me to open my gates to enter my property without getting drenched (although my feet still got drenched as the pavement was totally flooded too). This resulted in a lot of road rage from other road users and is becoming a regular occurrence when it rains. We should not have this problem trying to access our own property due to a lack of maintenance and repair work to the drainage system.
