New fence on highway verge, with dangerous metal spike.

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:37, Friday 24 March 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Contractors have this week erected a flimsy fence along the northern and western boundary of Wyfold Grange, and Wyfold Lane. Not only is the fence actually constructed ON the highway verge (public land), which severely restricts traffic attempting to pass on this already single track road; but also, the flimsy constriction includes a sharp metal bracket sticking vertically from the inadequate sized wooden posts; these brackets are at EYE HEIGHT, and present a serious danger to pedestrians, cyclists and horses.
