Road safety, oakthorpw road, ox2

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I have reported a road safety issue in Oakthorpe road ox2 nearly 2 years ago and got response from your team that plastic guards - "wands" will be trialled.

Two years on, and nothing has been done about it. I really struggle to understand why nothing has been done - cost of these plastic wands and their installation is a trivial job, cheaper than painting useless cycle symbols across cycling lanes.

  • Hi, please remove the wands, they make it very difficult to manoeuvre in or out of the parking spaces across the road, and there is no road safety issue at this location which the wands resolve.
