Lack of footpath onto main road

Where the path meets wantage road, there is no safe way or footpath to a safe crossing point. This is made worse during wet periods where it is very muddy. This makes this very dangerous for pedestrians, slippery or forcing people to use or cross the road which is also on a corner. The issue has been there since the path was created. I use this path on most days, as do a lot of other people including children. To me it looks like joining the path to the pavement on wantage road is an oversight or not planned, however it is dangerous given the path leads straight onto wantage road
