Rerouting bike path

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 14:38, Fri 17 March 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Iffley. Traffic on Heanly avenue and cowley is often impossible. The cars turning into cowley Town Road, in-between towns create a huge obstacle to the cars that need to go straight on, even though it is green. It is not very green to have a long traffic waiting for the cars to turn right. This is due to bike metal bars. I am a car driver as well a cyclist and I think in some cases you have not thought it through. Cyclist could take the route up into the small slip, a road of house parallel to iffley. Please look into it. Thank you.

  • Can the timing be changed for the lights at the junction of Rose Hill and Church Cowley Road. They could be adjusted to give more time for traffic going north Iin the morning and more for traffic going south in the evening. Thanks

  • Sorry old chap. What you have done here is tried to argue with the council based on logic and reason. Two things they don't understand.
