Inaccessible cycle route next to crossing
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 22:24, Thu 16 March 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The temporary barriers make the pathway impassable for wheelchairs / double pushchairs. Additionally, the space around the lights / angle of junction conflict with the nature of a bike crossing - not enough space to go around the traffic light, too sharp a turn onto the slope, nothing to prevent bikes rolling into the road. This is clearly indicated by the mud track created by users.

Dear Mr Brewer,
Thank you for reporting this. Our Senior Site Inspector has visited the site and engaged with the site foreman, who will be resolving this situation so that the footway is wide enough for prams and wheelchairs in the future.
Kind regards
