Shroud on lamp 14, and neighboring lights

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 20:37, Wednesday 8 March 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

When you changed the lamp on light 14 the shroud was not adjusted to the new lamp, (it needs raising!). Could you please send someone to raise the shroud. Also, if possible could you put shrouds on lights: 13, 013A, 15, 015A and 16. All those lights illuminate our upstairs bedrooms and garden!

Council ref: 4293568

Asset ID: 016

  • This problem, especially the misfitted shroud on No14 lamp is a disgrace. It illuminates not just our patio area where we like to sit in the evening but, all the way to the bottom of the garden some 38 meters away from that lamp. If this problem cannot be fixed would you allow me to place a coat or similar garment , over the lamp to give us some relief from this quite unnecessary light pollution. The street would still be adequately lit.
