No road marking or right of way signs

Reported via mobile anonymously at 12:33, Saturday 4 March 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

Goo Afternoon,

I was recently in a car accident where a driver has continued straight out of Pennyroyal place and drove into the side of the car which had my 2 year old son in.

Although we were on what would be classed as the main road (candytuft way) and already on the middle of the 4 way crossing I believe if there has be sufficient road marking or signs this could have been stopped.

I have witnessed multiple near misses on this 4 way junction and believe this needs to be looked at urgently.

Luckily this accident had no injuries but would like some road signs put up to stop any possible future injury or even fatalities.

  • Dear Miss McManus,

As the roads are private and owned and maintained by Taylor Wimpey, you will need to contact the Taylor Wimpey Customer Service Team to request giveway lines be laid. Their email address is oxfordshireCustomerServices@taylorwimpey.com

The approving Engineer for the development will raise this with Taylor Wimpey when he next has a meeting with them.

    Kind regards
    Road Agreements Team
