Roadworks not notified in advance
Reported via mobile in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 03:47, Wed 1 March 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The current roadworks (repaving pavement) are causing inconvenience as no notice was given as to when they were going to be scheduled this resulting in driveway being blocked by barriers and access to main road closed .alternative arrangements could have been arranged if notice had been given ie parked car on other street to avoid this disruption

Further to the above post re the street works being carried out by BRM Utility services on Arbury Close this week on behalf of Swish Fibre: Who is responsible for overseeing the standard of this work as our driveway has been left in a poor state following their work. The tarmac has been damaged as a result of their work and not repaired in my opinion to a satisfactory standard or left as it was before their work commenced. Please see photos attached and advise how this will be rectified.
Many thanks.

This is true the work has not been completed to a satisfactory level and now presents an eyesore to the area .Why was it not left as it was before the works started ? They should have resurfaced the whole pavement instead of cutting corners and just patching it up .This is not acceptable in todays level of professionalism and should be redone in my opinion
