The bridge over the Great Brook river on the road leading from Aston to Chimney has 2 pillars that are in very state of repair. The on of the left as you head south is particularly damaged with a section of the lower portion missing and he top part overhanging. The other pillar has a large crack across the width of it and the pillar appears to have shifted completely from its base layer (I suspect having been struck). I believe these need urgent inspection and repair.

This bridge is the only access to the Hamlet of Chimney. Chimney is situated at the end of a no through road. The problem is caused by SERIOUS LACK OF MAINTAINANCE coupled with HGV lorries, using sat nav and ignoring, the No HGV signage. There is the potential for a very SERIOUS OUTCOME through lack of maintenance and repair by OCC. Urgent repair is needed now.
