Sleepers on road edge crumbling
Reported via desktop by Steve Lisansky at 14:51, Tue 21 February 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
Some years ago you installed sleepers along the road adjoining our properrty. Two weeks ago the road was repaired and several sleepers extracted and replaced, although this movement caused them to almost disintergrate. In addition to the two shown, several others are in an advanced state of decay. The road is narrow here and disintegrating sleepers pose a danger to motorists and cyclists. I am willing to pay for the replacement sleepers myself, but do not have the strength at 75, or the specific knowledge to replace them myself. I am afraid if the crumbling sleepers are not replaced, they and the soild bank will fall into the road, and that the others will disintegrate more quickly. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

This was reported on 21.2.23 and I have heard nothing from you. I did not expect a rapid response, but I did expect some response within the two months that have now gone by.
