Shield on lamp post 9

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

When we moved into 3 Millar Close in December 2007 we were very grateful to the Council for attaching a shield to lamp no 9 as it illuminated most of our garden. We had requested this shield as it reduces light pollution especially for the benefit of wild life (e.g. hedgehogs, nesting birds) but also for our own well-being (better sleep). Since the change to LED lights the shield has sadly not been installed again and we would be most grateful if it could be attached as before. The alternative would be to switch that lamp off from e.g. between 23:00 hours and 6:00 hours. Many thanks B. Gannon
