Cycle path has been dug up

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 14:50, Friday 27 January 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The Cycle path adjacent to the A4130, east of the junction with Sir Frank Williams Avenue, has had a trench dug along it for several hundred metres. The accessible path is currently very narrow (only just wide enough for 1 bike) and you have to cycle very close to the busy road. This should not have been allowed to happen like this, and should have involved a diversion of the cycle path onto the carriageway with temporary traffic lights (as happened at the other end of this road last year when gas pipes were being installed). There is also a lot of mud on the cycle path as a result of the digging. Please rectify as a matter of urgency.
