Double yellow lines

Reported via Android in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 15:14, Wednesday 25 January 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This street should have a double yellow line and police officer enforcing it during school rush hours, the amount of traffic overflowing from the school car park and completely blocking the road is ridiculous.

  • The installation formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a traffic regulation order which involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, external funding would be required for this process. It should be noted that if vehicles are parking in either a dangerous position or in such a manner as to cause an obstruction of the public highway they are committing an offence under section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, this legislation is enforced by Thames Valley Police

    State changed to: Investigation complete
