Cycle crossing and new road surface dangerous in winter

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As others have previously reported this cycle crossing is really not adequate. This morning I fell off my bike at this crossing as the resurfaced path was extremely slippery. In itself this isn't ideal but is to be expected sometimes in Winter, but the fact that I had to make two sharp turns to navigate the crossing is the reason that my bike slipped from under me. I noticed a few months ago that the crossing on the other side of the road has been changed so that bikes can carry straight on - please could the same revisions be made to this crossing?
