Playing field

Reported via mobile anonymously at 06:38, Mon 16 January 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

The playing field in Dunmore road has always been fully enclosed so that children and dogs are safe from the road. The developers for the new estate have opened a six foot piece of fencing which now means it is not a safe place to play

  • Picture taken last week. I am seeking to raise this now.

Posted by County Councillor Nathan Ley at 09:23, Mon 16 January 2023

  • Dear Michele,

The area that is fenced is not part of the public highway or in Oxfordshire County Councils control. The boundary treatment of the green area would be for the owner of the land to comment on; for this area the land owner could possibly be Abingdon Town Council or the Vale of White Horse District Council.

    Kind regards
    Oxfordshire County Council
