Very, very bad surface

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by County Councillor Nathan Ley at 16:13, Friday 13 January 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I suspect this has been a long-term issue because it falls between different responsibilities. I don't believe we (OCC) technically own this tiny linking stretch of road/path, however it's unclear who does.

It links two separate roads by bollards, and a narrow footbridge to a third road. It's a key walking route as well as active travel link, which is one of our major priorities as a council. However, as you can see it's like a bumpy gravel type surface which makes it very difficult to use.

Is there any way we can just take the bull by the horns and find some budget (possibly including the Countryside Access or Vale Teams) and get this sorted? it's not a massive patch but it would have a disproprtionately big impact if fixed.
