Drainage blocked, longstanding issue getting worse

The drainage is blocked along this road and has been causing problems for over 2 years. When it rains now even the pavements start to flood and there have been issues raised by residents where deliveries have been having problems due to standing water. This was reported in November, Council ref: ENQ22938195 and has since closed, but nothing has been done.

  • We have investigated your report and this issue has been added to a programmed of work of road drainage clearing and investigation. any defects to be reported and added to schemes to reparie the drainage.
    Oxfordshire County Council prioritises high flood risk areas when considering drainage because of budget constraints but we will monitor reported issues during routine inspections. LINK to planned programme of work.?
