This problem has been reported several times but nothing has been done. It is now in a very dangerous condition and getting worse by the day. If this breaks up any more and the manhole cover becomes dislodged a very serious accident could occur. HGV lorries are continually going over it and making it sink even more. The exact location is obvious from the photograph. Just outside Cross House.
