Footpath not finished
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 13:56, Sun 8 January 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This footpath at new bus stop at Bailey Crescent is still unfinished. There are bollards everywhere and drain covers raise and kerb edges unfinished. It needs finishing so bus stop and footpath can be used safely. I can't see why this hasn't been finished and we are putting up with a mess created by new development.

Dear Carol,
Our Senior Site Inspector went to site yesterday morning. The unfinished works are due to delays from the electrical contractor installing power to the new street lighting. The surfacing will be completed once all the connections are completed. There were contractors on site yesterday morning working on the lighting.
The contractor Hope and Clay have advised the aim is that all the street lighting will be live by the middle of next week and they will have all the barriers removed where possible by Thursday 19th January and reinstated. Once this is completed, they will have to wait for SSE to disconnect the old columns before they can top off the path.
Kind regards
