Poor repair breaking up

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Poor quality of recent repair to pothole in right-wheel-line of east-bound A4130 just before Sires Hill junction. The repair was done by adding a MOUND of tar into JUST the middle of the previous pothole. Within a week, the trucks bouncing over this mound has caused the hole to start reforming. Please would you remove and re-repair - this time please fill and tar beyond the edges of the hole, and ensure it is all rollered firmly into place and flat. thanks,

  • One week on and it appears no action taken, unless it has been fixed and broken again this hole is getting worse and is becoming dangerous. On such a busy road this requires repairing before it causes an accident or further damage to many cars.
