Lights not working on 30 / 40 mph signs.

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:03, Fri 23 December 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The lights on one of the 30 / 40mph signs in Manor Road, Wantage, have not been working for over 2 years. I first reported this on 12/12/2020 but nothing has been done.

Council ref: ENQ22940711

  • Another one of the lights above the 30/40 mph signs has now stopped working, so that 3 of the 4 lights are now out. There are no lights functioning on the 30 mph signs and and 1 of the 22 on the 40mph signs. I am sure the local boy-racers, who speed up and down the road, will be able to use this failure of the signage as a defense against any speeding fines.
