Giveway sign missing and markings in road faided

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The priority sign to give way has been missing for over a year, this has been reported over 6 months ago and the sub contractors responsible are also aware and have done nothing, it is unacceptable. There are daily near misses here, someone will be hurt soon, if not worse. It is made worse in the cold weather as well when the water runs down the slope as the adjacent drain was tarmaced over instead of being fixed leaving water on the road.

  • I very nearly had a head on collision yesterday. I was heading out from the village towards Cassington and the car coming the other way obviously didn't know that they were supposed to give way. Either fix the signage or remove the bollard, it is dangerous.
