Central island almost completely destroyed

Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Graeme Rolfe at 17:00, Mon 12 December 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The central island installed to help pedestrians cross the A4074 from the bus stop at the end of Benson Lane has been destroyed in a road incident. The reflective signs are never cleaned and the illumination hasn’t worked for ages, so it’s not visible in the dark. Urgently needs fixing.

Council ref: ENQ22940107

  • This is very dangerous, what was an island is now a sea of trip hazards in the middle of a very fast road. Please prioritise this repair

  • This is still unresolved, almost 2 months later and still incredibly dangerous. I’ll report it again.

  • Still a massive hazard. What's the point of reporting when you just ignore it???
