Drainage problem on Gipsy Lane
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 18:17, Wed 7 December 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The outside drainage system in the road/street has been reported by the owner/landlord and the tenants as having become increasingly clogged and blocked over the past 12-18 months, which has resulted with the drains heavily overflowing particularly in the periods of heavy rainfall that has occurred in October 2022. This has resulted in the excess water accumulating in the drains and heavily flooding the driveway at 85 Gipsy Lane/neighbouring properties. This requires further investigation and the necessary remedial action to clear/unblock the drainage system accordingly to alleviate this problem.

This is basically all to do with the councils complete failure to sweep up leaves when they fall off the trees. At the same time every year from the same trees yet they can't manage to do it. Guess they have to let people's homes flood so they can do their traffic filters a £6.5m
