Cycle lane markings worn out, vehicle lane too narrow
Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 16:57, Mon 5 December 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The cycle lane along the north (eastbound) carriageway has badly worn markings separating it from the vehicle lane. This adds to the problem that the vehicle lane is very narrow, so that cars , vans etc are almost always infringing the cycle lane There is a wide footway here, which is only lightly used. Could some of it be repurposed a bys cycle lane, ideally two-way? As a short term fix, can the white lines be re-painted? Many thanks again!

I always feel anxious heading in the direction of Oxford on Stratton Way on the bike wondering if odrivers have spotted the near invisible bike lane markings.Theres a considerable stretch where they are faded to invisibility. What will it take -accident? God Forfend.
