Yet again more substandard repairs to our roads

I reported this area back few months ago about subsidence and potholes yet nothing was done. The last month last deep pothole and only this week its been filled. I say poorly filled and not repaired. Now it having only been done this week its already breaking up. Also whilst the contractors were ten feet away why did they not repair the other areas reported. Why is this that only a poor repair again is undertaken by Highways and will result in more expense to come back yet again to repair.

  • Thank you for your report. Due to a number of similar issues in the same area, more substantial repairs are required and has been passedtotherelevantteam. The pothole that met our intervention levels has been fixed. We will continue to monitor on our routine inspections. Regards
