Whilst the road subsidence at several spots along Aston Rd have been re-surfaced, there are several deep potholes that are very likely to cause serious damage and even injury, especially at night or when they are filled with water and cannot be easily seen.

Whilst the reported dangerous pothole (that had damaged several cars) at the top of a hill has been filled, it seems a botch job and already sinking and another one just a couple of hundred yards away on an adjacent hill was ignored. These are in such places that drivers may swerve into oncoming cars they can't see until the last minute to avoid. There are potholes all along Aston Rd right into the village, some with white paint that was done so long ago it's fading. The road had several long subsidence fissures that were recently fixed but others are already appearing. Please get someone to undertake a proper survey of the road instead of just dropping a bit of tarmac into a couple of holes.
