Dangerous narrowing of cycle lane

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The cycle path narrows dangerously at the pedestrian island. Cars try to overtake here, and it is not safe. If I follow the narrowing cycle path: cars overtake dangerously close at around 30mph. If I stay parallel with the curb: cars anticipate overtaking, accelerate behind me and then break sharply. For this reason, I was nearly struck by a landrover here today. Please fix this by painting the cycle path so that it remains parallel to the curb.
