Path sunk - kerb up on to bridge

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 17:05, Thu 17 November 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Hi, the cycle path bridge across moors ditch has a big kerb on the field side - it's a jarring bump every time, looks like the path surface has sunk a bit below the level of the concrete bridge.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

  • This seems to be getting worse. Can it be looked at? Its the rubberised path across the field and where it meets the bridge concrete edge there is a noticeable corner that is a danger for pinch flat punctures.

  • This is showing as under investigation since 2022 - is there any update please on progress during those 3 years? It's such a big step between path and bridge now that I damaged my bike bumping into it and will have to avoid using this route in the Milton Park direction until there's a ramp or some other properly wheelable transition from path to bridge.
