No light to the pavement

Last night as I walked this section of pavement I was shocked to realise that the pavement was in complete darkness. Although there are street lights on this side, hardly any of that light reaches the pavement so pedestrians are effectively walking along it in the pitch dark, my daughter refuses to walk this section because she feels so vulnerable. Must be one of the worst high use sections in Oxford. Given the appalling state of the pavement I am reporting under drainage and leaves, the combination is atrocious.

  • Is there any update on this report? I can see it moved into 'In Progress' in November 2022 (6 months ago now), with no further update. I echo the reporters concern. I actually live on this road and feel very unsafe walking home in the dark.
