Being used as a cycle lane

The path is being used as a cycle lane when it’s just a path as it’s unclear where the cycle path ends coming from the science parks, this has caused me to be knocked over by a cyclist a substance facial injury’s leg knee and albow bruises , please can signage be looked at to make this safe
