Traffic parking adjacent and very near junction

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:17, Tuesday 4 October 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

Traffic is parked adjacent and opposite to the entrance to the Warren causing unsighted exit from the Warren which is proving to be very dangerous for residents. Also traffic is parking on the Bus Stop and stopping the bus from being able to stop on it’s allocated spot thus causing more congestion around the Norman Avenue area. Can you pleas paint yellow lines to stop this dangerous parking.

  • The installation formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a traffic regulation order which involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, external funding would be required for this process. It should be noted that if vehicles are parking in either a dangerous position or in such a manner as to cause an obstruction of the public highway they are committing an offence under section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, this legislation is enforced by Thames Valley Police
