I LIVE AT 54 meadow bank, faringdon, oxon, sn78dd. the tree in front of our houses has grown a lot, some of the big branches are snapping and ready to fall down on people or cars underneath,we have a lot of older people who use the path and if one of those big branches fall down could kill someone or do lot of dammage to car.Need urgent attention, please.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense and therefore, Oxfordshire County Council do not have responsibility for the trees as local highway authority. I believe the tree may be the responsibility of the Vale of White Horse District Council and therefore you should contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.
